ADHD
Several years ago I was diagnosed with distractive-type ADHD. Pre-pandemic I could push through and get shit done, but my coping mechanisms stopped working. I can motivate and organize other people with great ease and efficiency, but a coffee cup might sit in my car for 3 weeks before I remember to grab it on my way into the house. Because we tend to flock together like dysregulated sheep, these same tendencies appear in all the people I surround myself with.
But why?
I love learning
In my decades out of school, I have l discovered my brain is only content if it is constantly learning or sharing knowledge. Thus, at this point in my meandering career path, I have a very wide ranging and useful set of skills. I can fully design and build you a house, install solar on the roof, furnish and decorate the whole house, cook a 4 course meal, reupholster the dining room chairs, build the dining table, and set the table with handmade dishes.
I am a patient teacher
Despite my often offensive language and terminologies, I am able to easily show and explain tasks, regardless of what methodology suits your learning best.

Mending and repairs, hemming, and small custom projects
Organization
Downsize the crap in your kitchen, help sort and curate a closet, deep clean, make a daily cleaning plan, personal shopper, personal chef, data entry, basic AR/AP
Accountability
Body double, weekly check-ins to reconnect with society, house sitting, pet sitting, checking on your aging parents
Teaching fine crafts
Stained glass, beading, silversmithing, wood turning, woodworking, embroidery, sewing machine lessons, printmaking, rug tufting, paper making, collage, basic jewelry making

My cost is $50/hour including mileage outside of greater Portland and a 10% markup on materials
